I reply: Yeah, but so what?  This one's a democrat & this one's a Republican
& this one is crooked &

            At some point, despite whatever anyone thinks, some of these
people are REAL public servants, not serpents. Some really &  truly wish to
serve their people/constituencies.  That's why they got into politics
originally.  A good read for the cynics is John Kennedy's, Profiles In
Courage.  It's about how various American rose to the occasion throughout
history, despite the crap of the day.
