Y'all were wondering about the Bottom Line tape and whether it was an
audience recording or broadcast:

I recall reading somewhere (don't ask) about club owners secretly recording
shows of performers with mics in the ceilings of clubs. Has anyone read
anything like this? Could this have happened at the Bottom Line?

Remember, back then cassette decks hardly existed, so it was likely
recorded on a reel to reel. Wonder how that would have happened if it
wasn't an official radio show?
