 "11 Tracks of Whack" on the other hand was, to me, the true solo successor 
 to SD.  I kind of fell into the Mick & Keith trap with SD, assuming that the 
 front guy was the life force behind the band when really (again, in my 
 opinion) it was Becker all along.  "11 Tracks" has it all:  twisted, 
 sardonic, non-user-friendly lyrics and plot lines; astounding guitar work; 
 thoughtful but quirky arrangements; angular banjos...; and Donald Fagan!  So 
 maybe it's closer to a SD album as was "Kamakiriad," but I still like "11 
 Tracks" better.

Totally agree with you James. You could not have said it better. SD lite. In 
fact as SD's later albums went more and more this way, I liked them less and 
less.
